ABOUT ME
I hold a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education & Supervision from the CACREP-accredited program - Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. I earned a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the CACREP-accredited, NC A&T State University’s Counseling Program, and also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from NC A&T State University.
I have 30 years of school counseling experience inclusive of years of clinical experience. I have had extended engagement (trainings, presentations, and research) in sex trafficking, self-compassion and resilience, and marital - relationship issues.
My recent direct clinical work with married couples and family issues has been most rewarding. My involvement in this area includes therapy centered around the topics of: Parenting, such as: managing the oppositional-defiant child, the child with autism spectrum disorder, and the child with anger management and depression issues. My work in Marriage issues include focuses such as: finances or money management, defining roles within the marriage, issues with extended family members, and mild alcohol and sex use issues.
I regularly review current literature, participates in regular clinical trainings, staff development, workshops, and research opportunities to stay abreast of the latest and most effective treatment methods. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, biking, walking, interacting with farm animals, floral designing, taking music lessons, writing children’s books, playwriting and directing theatrical performances in my spare time.

I earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science majoring in Human Development and Family Science.

Myesha Reynolds, MFTI
Myesha has over 14 years of experience as a Wellness Life Coach in diverse populations and has coached and inspired hundreds of people to create the relationships and life they want through intentionality, self-love, healthy relationships, and overall wellness. She is currently finishing her Master of Arts in Couple & Family Therapy with a focus on Trauma and Resiliency at Antioch University.
As a mother and breast cancer survivor, Myesha understands the importance of healthy relationships, wellness, and self-love. She has a passion for working with women, empowering them to discover their purpose within their bodies, society, family, and social groups. Through using a trauma-informed lens Myesha aid women in healing and discovering how their core beliefs from trauma directly impact, their self-worth, self-esteem, self-image, and overall mental and physical health. Myesha also has a fervent passion for working with couples empowering them to unlock unconditional love for themselves and their partner which inadvertently strengthens the family system.
Myesha’s compassion to desire to help others heal is seen through her intrinsic holistic approach to humanity. She enjoys working with individuals and understands each person has unique circumstances and greets all with empathy and compassion.
